This alt came to me early last year. I had it for a couple months before installing. After i installed it was used for 2-3 months before i hit a deer and my explorer is now unfixable. This alt is 100% functional and a beautiful specimen with its deep blue with flakes powder coat. The alt was to big to fit with original output post so mike had to move it to the side and silicone it on so that's the only thing wrong with this beast. Rated for 250a personally clamped 276a @ 2000~rpm before i ran out of things to turn on and draw power.

Price: will sell for 400+ half shipping. Paid 469 new.

Still under warranty and if u have any trouble me and mike talk regularly so i can help straighten things out. When bought it was the first of its kind and it's mikes favorite color so he won't forget it easily.

Any that use the sohc 4.0 motor. Not real sure Google if a explorer alt can be used on ur ranger. I will do it if ur interested.

From what i read on the ranger forum stock alts from 93-03 are interchangeable. This alt is a large case alt so the back bolt hole doesn't get used on my explorer(doesn't affect performance any.). Me and my mechanic played hell, had to re route three hoses and some wires to get it in there. But she's a beast and a beauty.
