sure, I'm bias, but this is ridiculous...there was way too much time, money and effort put into this example...and it will not halt the downloaders, sure some will stop because they're scared, but more content is distributed "illegally" by cooperate employees of the very companies filing suit than any single users...it will never end...as long as there is demand and hackers exist, it's futile to waste your money putting away a middle aged working mother or fining her some astronomical figure she will never be able to pay in her life...
so the answer to this is to go to your favorite media retailer, and simply steal the CD's you want, no one makes a big deal about that, and it happens everyday in large volume (not as much as downloading, now), this form of illegally obtaining music was around way before file sharing...You leave virtually no traces if not caught, other than possibly showing up on security footage, which is apparently easier to fight in court than an IP address claim not to mention that legal ramifications for petty theft are far less apparently than if you "stole" the content by downloading or sharing...
meh...some of us have bigger issues to deal with...i think the record labels should too, like how to spin their marketing, and how to overcome the pirating age...gotta re-revolutionize, otherwise nothing will change...
