Maybe you can explain why he got banned for posting in CT, its a thread in a public forum. Posting in it is not against any rules. If its private, he shouldn't have been able to access it, right?

when you are warned several times not to postin a specific thread and you keep doing it. what do you expect to happen?

Let me break it down for you.
When you have a wireless connection (like a laptop with a wireless card...), every time you reconnect to your ISP, your IP address is different.

Meaning it takes a simple click to change your IP.

Now, in the event that you have a land-based ISP, which has the same IP every day of every week... then you can go to any number of IP proxies.

It does not cost money, nor is it hard to do.

In no way am I justifying what endofdays is doing, because I think he is an idiot as well.

Dynamic vs. Static I.P.

A lot of land based IPs still use dynamic, so it's just a matter of resetting your modem.

I havent had static IP's from my ISP since the dialup days. Proxies are good if you need them, but often very slow

I am sure he knows what private means. Fact is though that the mods have the authority to do these very things that seem to get you so worked up. If that is the way he or another mod wants it then thats the way it is. I don't see why this is so hard.

I had a CT stay for a while.

Then they kicked me out. -shrug-

I mean, I think all of you are taking this whole thing way to seriously. It's a forum, and while I am on it a lot, that's because it keeps me entertained, and that's what these things are for... whether it sucks your social life or not. QQ all day if your thread got deleted. Many of my threads have gotten deleted, oh well. Odds are the question or conversation was already had in the past.

And based on the OP's thread name, it was probably about modding a PS3 or something of the sort... and if that's the case, you're on the wrong forum completely.

And while I do know that MoT is a bit ban happy a lot, I've talked to him a few times and he seems like a nice and reasonable guy. Just don't insult him. I don't think that's outrageously unreasonable. Not to mention when the OP brought his family into the fight-- not only is that a scum move, the logic is flawed. "You're a piece of shit, therefor everyone around you must be, too!"

He is not internet police, but he is CA police. This isn't a public area. Technically it is a privately held entity. The owner has given authority to a set of individuals to help run it as they see fit. Simple as that. You don't have the RIGHT to post in something if they don't want you to. So your real issue is with goob so talk to him.
