I'd hate to let you all in on a little secret. But really there is no point in voting for mods, because Goob chooses them anyway. If he doesn't like you, regardless of how many votes you have, you don't get in. Why do you think it takes him so long to announce the new mods. I stalked him after the mod vote and have seen him searching through threads for extended periods of time. Probably reading up on people making sure that they haven't done anything he disapproves of, or getting a feel for whether they'd make a good mod.
