Just wondering what the general consensus is of MSU specially their grad programs from people who live in the state. I can read reviews all day but I want to hear it from the people that live there. I'm considering going there. Is the campus as beautiful as the pictures make it look or is it just the pictures???

the campus is nice, my g/f attends, i go to LCC LOL and work all the time, its not all its cracked up to be, from what I've seen alot of the classrooms are old, some of the dorm buildings look pretty run down, all in all its really nice, but its as nice as the pictures make is seem, sweet parties though

Well I would be going to the Eli Broad school of Management for GSCM. Its supposed to be one of the best schools in the nation for it. That side of the campus might possibly be newer. Probably wouldn't be living in the dorms either, I'm a little to old for that.

Yeah...the ca.com lounge is a thinktank for the great minds of the internet. But on topic, I have heard of that grad program up there, and I would think MSU would be a great college.

from what i heard it's a good party school but lansing is nothing special. most people here like the spartans for some reason, probably cause msu is second fiddle to u of m cause msu's standards are generally lower then u of m.

Grad school is odd, because of the program I'm looking at certain schools that don't have the best reputations for undergrad rank among the highest for SCM.

Top schools are

MIT which has both killer undergrad and grad

MSU

Arizona State

Alabama State-iirc

Clarkson University

and a few more I cant remember. I just know its a good school and I'm thinking of going somewhere unique for the program
