He takes the NFL to new heights. Suddenly we aren't so far from the Roman's, who would cast a thumbs up, to call for death. Entertainment, it forgives all.

He paid his debt to society. He's still a fucking puke. The almighy dollar saved his ass from that 7-eleven job he deserves.
I hope your entertainment is worth it.
He was a NFL player when he went in, and he is an NFL player now that he is out. Just like Felons are normal people when they go in, and normal people when they come out. He did his time and now he is back doing what he deserves to be doing.

Yep, and he was someone willing to do what he did before he was arrested, and he's proven very little that he's not still that same person today.

Truthfully, I dont blame him so much personally, as the NFL, and the the Eagles. A person will always strive to make the most for themselves. The league should understand he hasn't done (nearly) enough to be placed back in a position to be a role model for kids. The NFL, with all their money and influence, have a responsibility to not put people in the lime light who present a bad example. He represents a bad example. The example of, if you are good at playing football, everything else comes second.

So where is your criticism over the Stallworth situation, or Roethlisberger (sp?) If if big ben didnt do it, it still brought a negative light onto him, the steelers and the NFL.

Im not as familiar with those situations, I suspect Id feel the same way. I have very little patience for people who have a luxurious life handed to them, and they turn it into something so irresponsible and reprehensible. Two wrongs dont make a right, bro.

Vick didn't have his life handed to him. It's easy for you to say he's scum for what he did but you didn't grow up where he did or live the same life as him. In order to understand someone you have to walk in their shoes.

You are so right, society is to blame for him deciding it was okay to let dogs live and die an inhumane death for his own personal amusement. Good call!

His 'fans' are only slightly better than him, for excusing his actions because he entertains them. If he wasn't a player capable of a 59 point game (in 3 quarters), the public outrage would still be much stronger than it currently is. Again, Romans with their thumbs held high. Victory at any cost forgives all.

I didn't excuse him for doing anything. He got the punishment he deserved. He's out now and has clearly changed for the better. His experience helped him. People that are still hating on him need to get over it. People are entitled to their views but personally I don't believe that dogs are equal to people.

Dogs are not equal to people. That's why I said "we aren't so far from the Roman's" instead of "we are the same".

He did get punished with the legal ramifications he deserved. But the NFL is not the public justice system, and again, they should realize with their power and influence comes a responsibility to not place people in their lime light that represent a poor example to kids who will no doubt idolize him. The desire to make money off his fame was more important to the league than was their responsibility to showcase people who portray good values. If there was ever an example of professional sports being little more than any other BUSINESS out there to earn profits, its the Michael Vick story.

Id have a lot more respect for the NFL if they banned him for life, instead of the slap on the wrist they gave him. Its easy to ban someone for a few years while they are in jail. Its a lot harder to say "we know he'd earn us a lot of money, but what he did was wrong, and part of his societal payment is a permaban from fame". If he donated most of his salary to animal rights movements, Id probably feel differently... but what charities is he donating his millions of dollars to? The Michael Vick charity. The NFL, and the Eagles, should be ashamed.

He was talking to schools, and doing his court ordered community service before he went back into the NFL so he was already talking to kids before the Eagles signed him. I feel he's a positive example of someone who made a mistake, served his time, and then changed his life as a result of what happened. If he came out and took everything for granted and messed up like many other famous people then I would agree with you. But he's been doing extraordinarily well since all that happened. He does a lot for different organizations. And I would disagree that the NFL just gave him a slap on the wrist. You want to talk about a slap on the wrist, then you should look at Stallworth. Vick has worked hard as hell to get to the point he's at now.
