Are they a tested product? Are they reliable... similar to kinetik?

They are new and just coming into stores. I am sure you will have a hard time getting user opinions on it.

after dealing in raptor crap in 2003-2004 only thing metra i like or use is their install kits and wire harnesses...

Metra has had a very poor track record for other products than dash kits and wiring harnesses...even their RCAs ****...

Well I was calling around for local dealers for powermaster, kinetik and other batteries and this guy strarts to tell me about shuriken batteries. I couldnt find a **** thing about them on the internet other than the amp/hour ratings.

Of course he tried to pump them up because he had them in stock.... they were offered at a very affordable price but I wanted opinions first.

I guess I'll pass on them for now... see what reviews they get as people try them.

Just would be nice to beat these shipping costs.... lol

Only one place around here comes close to internet + shipping costs on the other brands so, still planning out what route I'm taking.

thought maybe i would bump this up and see if anyone has any stories now after they have been out for a few months taht and i ran into some of these and the price is fair

i have that baby 20 amp one at the bottom. i've yet to hook it up but it seems solid. figured it'd help with my amp and converter when i drop a gaming system in there for my tv screen.and yea, i get them thru metra helllllla cheap which is nice. guess we'll find out if it was worth it.

just started selling them a few months ago and haven't had any issues yet. time will tell. ill repost if we have any significant issues.

we have installed about 25 so far for customers and 12 in my brothers windstar 8 sub setup with no issues, and i am getting ready to do 2 of the bt60's in my own windstar 1 for each 2010d brutus amp.
