I'm into Swedish metal and some Denmark stuff. European metal is so much better...

Raunchy, Dark Tranquillity, Mnemic, Soilwork, In Flames, Children of Bodem, Demon Hunter (Hard to believe it's a christian band but they kick butt) and Iced Earth are among my fav. metal bands.

Spineshank was brought up earlier, great band... Another band like them, more would be Celldweller.

APARTMENT 26, they got a weird sound though, I'm sure they're not considered metal but they are liked by many metal heads!

I don't know any metal pit that has people doing karate... That's hardcore punk shit, and that's for flammers that think they're bad *** but really aren't.

The thing I noticed with metal pits, they're rough. But if you fall someone helps you up to get you back into it. Punk and hardcore punk pits have people flayling about trying to beat each other up over apsolutely nothing, it's dumb and makes me wanna vomite. Love that punk is suppose to be political music (Usually anti-goverment with wars and such), and all it shows is fighting and shit in the pits... So ironic.

Only good blackmetal IMO is Darkthrone, Ritual Killer, and Goat*****. The real early 90s black metal not that ****n white and black face paint symphony garbage.
