Messin' around with termlab on new system

I just got the system installed in my regular cab S-10 and decided to pull out the termlab for shits and giggles.

Was able to pull off a decent score for it what it is, I think.

Install consist of:

Pioneer DEH-80PRS

Rockford Fostgate T1000BD-CP

2 American Bass VFL 8's in a 1.12 cube box tuned at 30hz with a 3 inch flared precision port.

Misc. 4 channel amp

Vifa Tweeters and Dayton Mids ran full active.

Sky High 4 gauge power/ground 8 gauge power/ground and 16 gauge speaker wire with 12 gauge for subs.

Stinger RCAs

Excessive Amperage 200amp alt with stock lead acid battery.

Still need to tidy up some wire.

bet if you tune to 38hz you will gain about 5 db. those trucks usually peak in the 55ish range

Depends on alot of things mine peaked at 56

Mine was between 55-60 hertz. Most if the time 58 tho higher elevations would make it peak at 60 tho

i thought if you tuned closure to vehicle peak the numbers are usually higher?

You are correct. But once you add your box or anything else that makes the cabin smaller it changes
