MESSED UP alpine mrp-m1000 amp

hey guys i just received this amp that i bought off of ebay.

The guy had a perfect feedback score (107*) and he said the amp was in MINT condition. I paid $206 including shipping.

this is what i got...is it that serious? should i return it for giving false description of the item... what should i do?

i forgot to mention that the box it came in with was perfectly fine. i highly doubt that the amp could have been broken and the box in perfect shape...

loos like durring shipping, if it worked id let it go or tell him refund like 50 bucvks and you want cause an uproar

email the guy and tell him. he may have insurance on it.

did the scratch happen during shipping or was it like that? The endcap is plastic so it might of smacked into something as they tossed it around if they didnt wrap it up tightly in the box.

If the amp works fine, I would let him know about the end cap and try working something out for whatever it will cost to get another endcap.

thanks guys. i email the guy and he said it must have been during shipping...

he said hes going to file a claim with ups to get some sort of money back?

how would this work if he had insurance on it?

maybe shipping, may be not, atleast the guy is tring to help resolve the issue. so i don't think you got scammed
