Memphis VS. JBL VS. Alpine (and throw in ARC)

I am once again tossing around the idea of new amplifiers, hence the reason I have sold my gto1201.1 and the px300.4 is pending. Now, I want bo buy a memphis belle, just because they are so badass, but, are memphis amps reputable, is it worth that high dollar? The jbl worked nicely for me, should I keep the px and maybe purchase a power series amp for my substage? I have used alpine in the past, and I was very happy with the results, what about running some of the PDX lineup? ( According to a prior thread the PDX 4.100 makes about 125x4, which is awesome for the GERMS). Then I had to throw in arc, I put it in parenthesis because, I know that most people are going to say just buy the arc, and be done with amp purchasing forever. What is your input. I need two amps unless I go with the belle. One for my germaniums, and one for my 10 inch fi ssd, with the flatwind coils its SUPPOSED to handle right around 1k according to the old owner, but I can always leave gains moderately set. Again:

Germaniums: (Powered with what)

FI SSD: (Powered with what)

Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated.

** The only amps that I can even go look at, probably not even hear hooked up to a good set of comps/subs, are the alpines** No Dealers in area FTL.

Thanks in advance.

Fine I will be the first to say it get the arc and be done. Depends on your budget. bridge a SE 4200. Or you could do the FD4150 and a 1200.1 if you want some real headroom.

as far as the memphis goes I love the looks, it makes for a very clean install, BUT I havent heard any of memphis' new lineup, a family member in virginia knows a dealer who sells them, and he swears they are the shit, BUT, Id say thats a little biased. The arc amps are getting harder and harder to come buy, and at this point in time, I cannot afford to buy from a dealer, looking for used amps=ftl!

i'd say keep the jbl. They are very well built and will last you a very long time. I don't see the point of going through the hassle of trying to get new amps when the one you have is top notch.
