when i talked to the guy at memphis about mine he warned me not to use the bass knob but that might be on the first gen. runs it was along time ago

Its acctually a Remote Gain Control knob.

And good luck finding the orignal. Memphis has a RCA line level controll that they sell that works like the Remote Gain knob would.

Great little amplifier I had 2 that I just sold pretty recently myself!
