Memphis Pr's

So I have decided to just completely drop the JBL line sub wise. I am debating on going to the Memphis Pr 12's. Are they really what they are cut out to be. My buddy has 2 hooked up to the 500 watt PR amp and they are loud. I have a JBL GTO1201.1II. For $77 a piece could I really go wrong with getting 2 of them or is there something better for the same price from either kicker, alpine, fosgate, or boston?

The pr's have worked great for me,for only being 80 bucks a peice,I havent ran jbl in a long time so im not sure about the GTO 1201.1.Ive been running a memphis 1000d to each pair of my pr's for a long time now and havent hurt them yet.But i dont beat on my subs either they only get full power at comps.Sorry i cant help any more then that.I recomend pr's they are a good sub for the price.

thats pretty funny.......your droppin JBL in favor of the cheapest sub Memphis makes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Memphis PRs are low end 50 dollar ebay subs, far from extrodinary......

Save up a few bucks and get something that will actually sound good, there are MANY subs metioned on this forum that give more value for your dollar,Memphis is far from what I would call a company that offers extra value for the dollar ...

PS,Id rather have a JBL in my car than a Memphis anyday

Can i get a list of said subs so i can check them out?,and steert edge is the cheapest sub line memphis puts out.
festiva i wouldnt worry to much about what that other guy was saying. i will bet him anything he wont find anything as good for the price.

about 56Hz right now still have to finish my wall and brace then tune it to 63Hz.After about a half hour of screwing around, with my batteries beat down pretty good i did a 151.2.So fresh id probly say a 152 before the rest of the work.
