I see that they are rated at 250 rms , but i wanted to know whats the most i can run safely on a daily basis, I was looking at HIFONICS BX1500D, they are dual 4 ohm so each would be getting about 750 each @1 ohm, is that to much or will i be ok? thanks in advance

I had 1000 watts going to 2 12's in a ported box for over a year. Pounded like no tomorrow. 750 watts might be a little much for a single 15 though...be careful with the gain .

1000wrms on a ingle pr15 is too much...

teh good news is that if u get from an authorized dealer, u can blow it up and memphsi will replace it...

350-400 is about as much as they really want....

1000wrms on a pair...still, u're going to wanna watch the gains. that's quite a bit above rated. but for teh money, pr's are hard to beat.

just be diligent and you shouldn't have any issues...

well brutus amp deal didnt work out so i changed directions and just ordered a memphis pr 1000.1 so same 1000rms at 1 ohm just a different amp, thanks for the input

more like a true 1kwrms...lol..they are a nice match. teh pr series amps have quite a few features for the money. they are a bit less efficient then their upclas brothers, the mc series...but they'll still give ya the power they say they will.
