Memphis or Rockford?? which and why?

I have a chance to get either of these for the same price:

Memphis BIG Belle

75x4 @4ohm & 1100x1@1ohm (new in the box)

or

Rockford 25 to life POWER 1000

50x4@4ohm & 800x1@1ohm (on birthsheets I've seen around 100x4 and 1050x1)(also new)

which would u choose and why?

Ive used both...

I'll take my power 1000 over that hunk of sheiot belle any day.

It doesnt overheat, it doesnt have retardely sensitive rca's and it isnt a PITA to put the speaker wire into.

It also has the LED meters which show you when you are clipping the amp, very useful.

power 1000 all the way, just sold mine to a happy customer, but man rf qaulity and performance is hard to beat, memohis has really finicky rca inputs, just my 2 cents

Id say the memphis has more sub power, but thats all it has going for it.

To many people have problems with them, ive yet to see a problem with a power 1000.

Plus the 1000's are limited to 2500.

How does the mono side "**** ***"?? The other guy that had one said it was more power than the rockford...

Isn't it just their 4ch and 1000d under 1 chassis??

I would assume the output would be just fine.. but...

What are these "sensitive" RCA imputs?? what do you guys mean by this?

signal is comming from an 8v Eclipse (8051... I think thats the model)

The DIYMA guys are reporting up to 4x the rated output on the 25 to life amps.

The power 1000 isnt rated that low, but its definetly 2x more than listed.
