memphis Mclass vs. diamond audio D3

im gonna be installin some coaxials in my buddies grand am soon and he left the chioce of what speaker to get up me to.

having him "save a lil to get something better" isnt an option hehe

and keep in mind hell be runnin it off of stock deck power for now, his car is a work in progress ;-)

so which speakers do u all think is better?

Diamond D3. Just make sure they're the D361i set rather then the D362i set. (or D351i if you need a 5 1/4" speaker)

how would the Crystal Mobile Sound SSX Series coaxs measure up to those 2? Bc i just replaced all 4 of my speakers with SSXs for a lil more than the D3s

even tho the D3 is the better product, he insists on goin with the MClass to save 30 bux, and keep it all Memphis. o well tho, its a quality speaker and im sure it will satisfy his needs

Man thats too bad he won't pay the extra loot to get the D3's. People who get trapped into using all of the same brand in their system often end up sacrificing. Oh well, hopefully your friend enjoys the result

I'm sure he'll like the MClasses. I've owned a few MClass products and have never once had a problem.

I havent heard the Memphis speakers but the D3s are shit IMO,and a tad overpriced too....Check out crystals,youll get double bang for your buck
