Memphis mcd 1000d question...please help

I have one Memphis mcd1000d right now, and I plan on getting one more. I am going to be getting my 12's soon. If i want to run the subs at 1 ohm would i just buy dvc2ohm subs and wire each sub to an amp, or do I get dvc4ohm subs and somehow combine the amps...and if the second option were the case, how would I do so?

If you want to run the subs at 1 ohm you would have to only use 1 amp using 2ohm subs ran parallel. But if you're getting another amp then run 1 sub per amp and get 2 ohm subs. You'd be running your amps at 2 ohms but the power will be significantly more powerful if you have an amp on each sub.

your first option is perfect, unless youre able to clamp those amps but im highly doubting it.
