memphis mc1500d probs

its powering 2 memphis m3 10s and when i turn it up and its hittin really good the amp will cut out and protection light will come on then it will hit again,acts like amp is cutting out low frequencys or sumthin? any ideas wut may be wrong?

It sounds like you have a voice coil going bad. Memphis amps have a really good protection circuit, the will go to protect when the ohms drop to low. If you had a shorted voice coil it would not come back on. What is happening is really clipping protect to keep the sub from smoking.

but the subs dont sound like there hitting to there full ability tho
