Memphis M3 15"s

cant really reccommend an amp cause we dont know the impedance of the subs or how many, therefore no way of knowing what the final load would be to the amp, it would be a waste for example if the sub was a dual 4, an you only got one, you could only wire a saz1500 to 2 ohms, you would get like 800w and spend $800. And just saying yea throw it in a 35hz box is kinda stupid also. The first guy up there is just repeating shit he reads around the forum, actually he gives horrible advice all over the forum.

If i had to just guess at a tuning frequency though and you want it low I would do 30hz myself

^^^wise man

but seriously, 2 of the D4 15"s. I've heard they can take up to 2000 watts. I wouldn't want to risk my babies like that. I want about 1500. Which sundown does close to that? I was looking at the SAE-1200D and I think that does 1600, which maybe perfect. As for tuning, I've heard 36, 35, and 30 Hz. I do like it low, so I think I'm going with 30 but the amp is still up for grabs. Oh, my does have and idea amount of airspace? I don't have the subs yet.

M3's can take a lot of power if you have common sense. They max out around 3kWish, but are capable of taking more than that. I've seen a pair of them run off of (4) Memphis 4kW's. A half ohm on a Sundown 1500d would be a good match up (assuming the M3's come in dual 1's).
