Memphis audio SCREWED me!

Muffin..... cry me a river. You got what you paid for, a cheap price with no service. Hope the next guy gets you as well.
In case you have not figured it out as well, running around the internet like a whiny little beyotch is not helping you at all either...... I see one post on the12volt.com site, how many other cheese and whine show posts have you made around the internet?
yea, and that

the guy clearly said he was willing to pay... he wasnt asking for warranty work.. cant people read?

now granted if he was trying to get it warrantied then too bad for him.. but thats not the case...

either way good luck to you
uhh exactly guys, it says in the original post NOT WARRANTY...that is really how they wont repair a product even when the customer is wanting to pay for it....

ya but there basically saying to the guy even if you want to pay for it, we wont do it. so next time buy from authorized dealer.

The issue here is NOT warrenty work.He just wants the amp repaired by the company that sells it.He even offered to pay.I don't see how this bypasses anyone who has sold or is selling Memphis. But if the prefer to turn away people for the reason of not directly purchasing the amp from a known dealer then so be it.

But not all companies are like this so to each his own.

if you buy from a friend..... does that mean they wont fix it EVEN IF YOU PAY???? ps iv NEVER like memphis... LOL
Maybe ill make the 300 mile trip to a local event and give ya a demo , you can sit in it as it tops 165+ db at the dash all with Memphis Car Audio !//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

props for being loud.... I just dont like memphis for my own personal reasons...

I was really hoping that Memphis would pull a J. Demuth and say they'd throw it in the trash if he sent it in to get fixed.

Wow, a SPL van does a 165 with Memphis gear...does that mean the guy isn't allowed to like the company for different reasons? Last time I checked he didn't say "I never liked Memphis because they can't get loud." You seem to be getting a little defensive about the company...are you related to audiolife? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Memphis won't even talk to you if you didn't purchase your amplifier from one of their dealers, period! Even the dealer won't be able to help you out on that one, even if you happen to be good friends with the owner and the manager. I found that out the hard way by making a couple of unauthorized BNIB Memphis purchases that arrived DOA. At least UPS insurance took care of me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Don't get me wrong, I really like how Memphis supports their dealers BUT I want to know how Woofers Etc. obtained stacks and stacks of Memphis 500 and 1000 watt Class D amps that they blew out last summer? There is no way you are going to tell me a shady distributor was able to obtain that much "unauthroized" product in one shot. If I had to venture to guess, Woofers Etc. probably purchased the Memphis old stock for a little more than cost from Memphis themselves. Think about it, Memphis doesn't lose a fortune on the old stock AND they washed their hands of all product liability. Talk about having your cake and eating it too if it really went down that way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
