those memphis 4ks take alot of electrical. team southern bass on here ran one and he used 7 of the smaller c and d batts. so like 2 or 3 big c and d's would be fine.

4/0 power wire

300A alt

Big3 done with 2/0

Pair of BatCap 2K's (linked with 2/0)

then 2/0 from batteries to amp

using that amp at 2 ohms (1.8ohm dcr) is a waste. It needs 1 ohm (.7ohm dcr) to shine.

300 amp alty

1 pos and 1 neg run of 1/0 front to back. more runs the better

decent front bat, at least 3000 crank amps worth of back bats, more the better

any voltage drop under 11.5v will likely blow the amp. watch your voltage carefully.

i would sell it and get something that will run 4kw at 2 ohms if you cant change out the subs. Otherwise I'd say it the mojo at .5ohm. only way that will work is if you have at least a 300amp alty, and about 4000-5000 crank amps of bats if not more. If you can keep it above 13v, you can probably run it at .5ohm daily, but if you dont give it the juice itll fry.

4 big batteries at least along with the stock battery are what you need to run them properly.And I wouldn't try .5 ohm daily it won't take it.It will run fine for a little while but it will thermal if you beat on it for about 20-30 min.Iwouldn't suggest anything under 1 ohm daily with a beefy electrical to keep it going.

Why not get a smaller amp then?It'll probably end up costing you less in the long run and do the same thing.

Just get a nice 2k amp and 1 battery in the back and you'll be just as good as buying all the electrical to back that 4k.
