memphis 4k

Stable - yes. I don't think they even have a protection circuit. LOL

Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get too hot. You will need a very strong electrical system to back it up also. I ran mine at 0.5 daily for a while, and had no problems out of them, but I know a few others that have had a little bit of heating problems out of them at 0.5. At 0.7 you should be o.k. just keep an eye on the amp temperature, and your car voltage. To be completely safe, you don't want to let your voltage dip under 10.5 volts EVER with that amp. I've ran them lower with no problems, but your on the verge of problems.

all memphis M-class amps have a protection circutMCD-250 all the way up to 4Kw
They are suposed to, but I don't think it works. Ours would turn on at 20 volts, and never went into protect, even when a sub blew and the coils dead shorted. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

.7ohm DCR is the same as 1ohm nominal. i run mine at that and it's fine. even if you're doing a solid 12v full tilt it'll still get warm possibly hot. make sure it has good ventilation if you're under 13v. definitly need a decent electrical to run it. i'd recommend at LEAST 2 decent bats, an HO alty, and dedicated negative power runs to be safe, you CAN do it with less but itll put alot stress on the electrical and the amp. these blow around 10.5v ish volts typically.

i've heard they'll do .5 ohm (.35ohm DCR) for burps and bassrace style applications, however you need higher voltage to do it safely. from what ive heard you'll want at least 16v for that, but they spit out quite a bit of power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i will add this is one bad *** mother ****ing amp. when you give it the current, itll deliver
