i have an Memphis 16-ST500D Amplifier hooked it up and it sounds kinda weak,i have it 2ohm loaded, with mbquart pwe12,green light and everything on,do i need the bass remote to get more power out of it,or what not real familiar with memphis please help

No, never use a bass remote. You need to set your gain correctly. Check out this link to learn how. Then double check your wiring.

If that doesn't work for you, get the amp checked out. If nothing's wrong you might just need a bigger amp.

If you do decide you want a bigger amp, I have an Orion XTR Pro 1000 and I'd be willing to work out a trade for the Memphis. I have another Memphis ST amp that I'd like to match, and I'm looking to downsize.

Hope it all works out.

Suggestions.

Quit being a little bitch if you want any help. We have people coming in here all the time asking for help who never actually do anything because they are stuck on their own ideas of what's wrong. We offered suggestions about what could be wrong, to which you did not respond. Instead, you simply posted the same damn thing you put in the original post. "Oh no! My amp isn't as loud. What do I do?" You give no information, yet expect us to automatically know how to fix it.

Quite frankly, if you react like this, you don't deserve any help.

Peace out faggot

At the time, the ST500D remote bass knob

was designed to work in conjunction with the on-board gain knob; one was dependent on the other, in terms of

level- so it could very well benefit you to find the remote and plug it in and turn it to max level (two full clockwise turns).

Thanks,
