I am starting to have second thoughts about using my Power 1000 in the Mustang because that bastard is too big to fit in most of the places I envisioned it fitting. Do you think that the Memphis 16-PR1.5KD will be too much for a JL Audio 13w6v2 to handle with the gains turned down?

The Memphis is capable of producing 1,500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms and the JL is only rated to handle 750.
