I'm considering buying a Memphis 1500d to power two Image Dynamics Idmax subs. Any body used this amp? If so, what do you think about it?

great amp as long as you stay at 2 ohms on it. Puts out a hair more than rated.

I have an older style early 2000 model, the polished one, and it was great while working. I was running it at 1 ohm recently for a few months on some JL Audio 12w6's and it would go into protection mode if you got on it but other than than it was great at moderate level of volume. I would recommend running it at no less than 2 ohms if going to be turning it up loud, since my protection light now stays on and I am going to have to get it repaired..
