memphis 1000d wiring help

my friend is wanting to trade me his memphis 1000d amp for my audiobahn a8000t. however I dont know the wiring diagram for the 1000d. I havd two dual 4 ohm 15 inch solo-barics. How do I wire the amp to get maximum wattage to each sub? Thanks

this will be your friend.If your amp is stable at 1 ohm go with parralel if not youll have to go with series.http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=161

it is 1 ohm stable i think might actually be 0.5 but I think 1. However its not wanting to hold a 1 ohm load. He sent it to memphis and they said absolutely nothing is wrong with it everything is fine. but its still not holding a 1 ohm load.

How is that possible,That amp doesent seem like it fits your application how much power does it do at 4 ohms?that would be your only other option.

it is 1 ohm stable. when we hook it up at 1 ohm the amp shuts off. we tried hooking it up at 1 ohm to just one sub too and it shut off too.

1 x 300 @ 4 ohms

1 x 600 @ 2 ohms

1 x 1100 @ 1 ohm

ya that amp wont work then youll only be getting 150 per sub.I mean it will work but they wont get that loud.How much can the subs handle.

i agree my brother had one of those intake amps and it sucked.Sold it and got a hifonics 2 weeks later.

we had it hooked up like that first diagram at 1 ohm but the amp shuts off. it is shutting off at 1 ohm on his system too but he has sent it to memphis twice and there was nothing wrong with it either time.
