Memory wire...

I'm lookn 4 a little help on a project. i am trying 2 install a CD player in a 69 Impala but there is no memory wire in the car... What I need 2 know is, how to run a memory wire... Really lookn foward do completing this project, so any help would be greatly appriciated.

i had the same problem once the easyst thing is to do is if there is a cigarette lighter near the head unit is to just splice into the positive

x2. Just run your own from the batt. Can't be too hard in an old car, since there's nothing really to them.

go into fuse box and use dmm to see which one stays on when car is off and connect there.

do not do this dumb nonsense.

get it from the battery or fused form the ignition harness if you are too lazy it will be the 12gauge red wire amongst other 12gauge wires
