surround looks too big on that sub for me...looks like a waste of cone area.

the raging inferno 12 needs the surround becouse of the powerfull motor, the sub has a very long excursion and a double stacked magnet structure weighing over 40 pounds alone, a smaller souround would limit the excursion of this driver.

im not trying to brag about the product, there are many great products out there such as RE , i am just telling what i no about megaloud, and trying to show people that it is an amazing comany, i hope videos from the slap nationals on sept 11 2005 will help people see the power of megaloud.

Might want to start off with lower prices to build a customer base, then up the prices as new improvements occur.

what the heck do I know though...I just teach people to use a computer.

hmmm shoulda went for a stealth install ive seen better looking xplore amps...and being a ripoff on sony already gave them low standards

ummm...my DD weighs over 40 lbs alone...and holy crap it has a double stacked magnet. andt he surround isn't giant...tall and skinny, so it keeps the cone area other subs lose by making massive fat surrounds. oh well. i'd play with one of the megaloud subs...if i didnt have to pay for it. and hiding specs on the sub is pretty ummm stupid. how doyou expect to sell any if you wont list the specs for it. makes no sense to me.

the reason for no specs is it actully isnt a production line sub, it isnt made to sell, they are custom made to order

heh... atomic apocalypse x lookalike much? Im sure the soft parts are different though

edit: the middle line also uses the same motor or close to it as one of atomics models

Hell, if we want to take weight into consideration, the MTX jackhammer weighs somewhere around the 370 range, and has a massive surround...

Prices are rediculous when you can go with AB and get quality equipment (vFL extreme) for in the $400-500 range from a dealer.

why do all of the amps list a total wattage that is double the bridged power shown only a few lines below on the spec sheet?
