Meeting the GF's dad

Yup its that time again. My exgf's dad was a huge guy, worked in construction and what not and was a drunk. I got along fine, he told me he would throw me in his woodchipper and feed me to his fighting roosters if I touched his daughter but that didnt happen so iam all good.

Now time to meet my new GF's dad. He is a truck driver that stays gone all week and only home on the weekend. He drives a Peterbuilt truck and haul's Fords. She says he is pretty protective over her, which i could imagine cuz she's got 4 sisters and no brothers so a houseful of women i would be hateful/protective too.

dang that would be sweet for me lol, I'm pretty much a die hard Ford guy and love big trucks specially Pete's. Not really sure where to get started and what not though. Ford just came out with the new Superduties if thats something to talk about with the new 6.4L twin turbo diesel with all the emissions crap on em still waiting to see if they are good or bad after the debacle wit h the 6.0L diesel.

I'm guessing hauling cars and being gone all week he has a pretty nicely setup rig, probably a 379

I am really guessing he will see through your BS if its all your looking for is getting through his "shield" and not genuinely interested. Also ya never know he could be one of them guys who could care less about what they do for a living or what they haul, he could be a die hard chevy guy and hate the smell of diesel smoke lol, but can't hurt to do some research on possible conversation topics.

didn't notice Kentucky, bet he does deliver superduties then I believe thats where the plant is. Pete's are definitely nice but can't see worth a **** out of the cab with the fairly long and nearly straight nose they got. He is prolly pretty laid back but I bet he has plenty of travelling stories about morons in 4-wheelers (cars) and other crazy things ya see when you live on the highways.
