Medical marijuana

Not sure what your over all point is, but I have had a medical marijuana card in the past (no longer smoke it, nor will I ever again). I can tell you that the doctor who prescribed it to me indicated that the main benefit of MM was in helping patients of varying illnesses to sleep. That being said, that doctor was also drunk at the time (funny story to share some other time).
I would assume it would also be extremely useful as an anti nausea and anti anxiety medication.

Pain relief, cancer relief, and it has been shown to regress tumor growth. There is a lot of uses out there.

Not to mention it can be used recreationally without many negative effects.

I'd rather be smoking pot than be addicted to pills...

When I was a pothead a decade ago I never would have imagined this movement would have happened so quickly. I honestly believe within another decade it will be accepted.

According to 60 minutes, there's more MM dispensaries in Colorado than Mickey d's and Starbucks

I could definitely use it for my anxiety and depression. I don't ever want to go back on those pills, except maybe the benzo's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

I also get some pretty bad lower back pain occaisionally. My worst problem is insomnia, I've tried so much to try and sleep well. All the sleep aids give me super crazy dreams and cause me to over sleep sometimes.

I may move to CO so I can grow my own. I have friends back in CA that have or had MM cards. I don't think any of them really need it and just use recreationally. Not that I disagree with recreational use.

Just to spread awareness. A number of states were writing up mm laws or were trying to pass it. Some of those states voted no, and the only reason is people were ignorant to the fact it has many uses. Like all drugs, it affects people differently and some people will have side effects they don't like. But it has many beneficial medical uses, not to mention the hemp could be used for a lot of things also.

I feel ya, the doctors gave me all kinds of pills. They either didn't work or had nasty side effects. I hurt my back roofing and this doctor without a question wanted to give me percs and Soma's. I told him I didn't want to take those and he told me I would have to deal with the pain or get used to the side effects. I haven't found anything that helps my anxiety but pot. I have to take high doses of the benzo's in order to work but then I can't get up in the morning. And it is only illegal cause the drug companies would lose billions if it was legal in all states.

There are plenty of uses for medicinal marijuana, don't believe the lies you are fed.
obviously...its been used medicinally for a very long time. even if just theraputic uses. but if anyone tells me they just smoke it for medicinal purposes theyre full of shiit

i hate benzos, not a great feeling, it just stops most of your neurons from firing. kinda like kicking you into retard mode. opiates are almost all the same and can be great for anxiety a few times but FFFUUUUCCCCKKK what they do to you when you quit after taking a decent amount. the most therapeutic drugs ive ever done, and the only ones i truly enjoy are mdma and psylocybin/psilosin. diacetylmorphine is not what people hype it up to be. not even when injected. it only seems that good when you are addicted and shoot up. but its nice to do once or twice
