with that being said, muraders are not that bad, I would daily drive it if had 351, wasn't a complete rip off the impala, and was not assembled by furd. And when I wanted to hurt feelings and look clean, I would park the muarader and jump in the SS.

The marauder looks to much like a clowndick to me, and I hate the way those **** cars look, at least the caprice was clean in its own right.

 
Just get whichever you come across 1st.. I have always loved the Impala SS, and always will.. I would own one in a second... But the Marauders are so clean in their own right.. the stance and overall look appeals to me.. Buy em both or get whichever is available 1st.. I swaer I had this same conversation this morning LOL

hahah and what is the reasoning behind this..... do you favor a smaller dohc engine that has to have expensive forced induction mods to go faster. thats cool I guess. The only reason the 4.6 DOHC motor in that muarader is even worth talking about is that it is similar to the block in the cobra, but it does not even have the freaking forged internals that make that motor worth a ****, they are popular motors in the cobras is because in stock forum they can take alot of boost. in the murader, you can't just slap a whipple on it and go, it wont stand up, so really around 300whp your maxing that small small small block out, not to mention they don't make shit for torque na and thats what 4000lb car needs to get going fast. Its like the guys that put HUGE cams in lt1 impalas just for the lope and hp bragging rights, but don't run quick because they don't have the tq to get the fat ***** out the box....it might be quick on the highway tho, but 1/4 mile is what most people care about.... racing on the street in 4000lb car is a bad idea anyways... espc in a crown vic that is a moving bomb

yea, they just assume since its older its far un-superior to a LS1, just because the LS1's heads flow better stock for stock, most are newbs that dont understand the importance of matched heads and cam, they just assume the more lope the better. so they throw the cam in their ls1 and assume its the baddest mofo ever. Then get pissed when they get smoked by a LT1 car with heads/cam and stall. A heads cam lt1 and heads cam ls1 are in the same playing field, newbs see a number and don't understand this... Its like thinking a old school 350 done up right can not make the same power as a LS1 done up just as nicely. They both can only make up to a certain amount of power untill they need more ci.... no replacement for displacement, which is why I would take a bet that the DOHC 4.6 could never make the kind of power that a LT-1 could NA.
