I was already leaning toward the Impala I'm in Paradise Valley btw

96 impala ss i got one, add a lt4 kit and exhaust, chip upgrades u got a bad a$$ reliable beast

I only drive Chevy's never ride a Ford in hte words of lil' wayne

Neither. But if I had to choose one in a life and death situation, I'd probably choose the Impala SS.

Take it from someone who has actually driven and had family that owned both -

Marauder hands down

Engine mods are plentiful for both, the Merc can be built to handle like a champ for a car its size and is flat out built better.

http://www.kennybrown.com/ is your friend as they can turn a Panther(Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Lincoln's) into anything you can dream or afford....

i hate the fact that the impala got turned into front wheel drive. if your talking about the caprice renovation (i.e. 94 impala ss) they are nice but i'd go for the newer merc. (i am a ford man though so, just go with what you want).

The Marauder looks like a plain ole boring Buick to me. Inside and out.

Of course, the Impala looks kinda plain-jane boring to me as well, which is why I choose neither!

i am gonna go with the SS as it holds a dear spot in my heart as that was what we drove for drives ed. it was a 95 ss and it was purple, we had a 400lb teacher who smelled nasty and the seat sides were worn out. i smoked the tires on day and she yelled "ohhh my underpants" because i took off fast and " gave her a wedgee"
