Is there any harsh math...and if so are we allowed to use caclulators?

I went to their site and took the practice test (Don't know if it's anything like the real one) and I did fairly well, but there was a lot on Ohm's Law covered on it...

Well I'm going for silver by the end of the summer...which probably wont happen

But thats why im getting an all lvl study guide and just spending all my free time getting my certifcation

BTW the12volt has a lot of the ohms law info from the book

what kind of noise do u get when installing an aftermarket HU to the stock HU power and ground source?

a - ground loops

b - ?

c - ?

what kind of interfernce does it cause?

so, every time i install an aftermarket HU.. i should run a straight pos from the battery. and run a new ground???

generally a new ground is all that is needed to prevent alt whine(aka interference)

not sure whats specificly wrong w/ it....it works on some vehicles and some it doesnt......i jus know that when you have alt whine a bad ground either the h/u or the amp is usually the culprut
