Oh yeah, you're just right down the road. Most of our local efforts go to Lawnsdale Elementary or KARMS, both of which are right in the ghetto part of downtown. Lawnsdale and Mechanicsville are the worst... Our warehouse is right off of Magnolia, which is regarded by many as the worst part of Knoxville. I would way rather walk down magnolia at night than anywhere in Mechanicsville.

In my opinion, all of East Knoxville is pretty scary.

I always liked Chicago. Easy to get around, nicer people, nice nightlife, way less hassle than NY. You do have to be careful in some areas though...

As far as I am concerned....anyone in poverty in the US is there by choice. Anyone in a 3rd world country should be getting birth control.....not food and water.

fuck those kids. I dont see them assembling to buy me alternators, so why should I do the opposite. If they had the chance I'm sure they would all stab me in the spleen and harvest my body parts

And as for the part about people wanting to be poor.......if it means free handouts and not having to work.......yup. People do it all the time. In Canada, people know exactly how many hours they have to work to be able to collect unemployment. And they do....they work till they can sit around and get paid for nothing. So do I think people choose to be poor.....yup.

Oh i know what your saying.I know a couple that have been on unemployment for 3 years now.he works under the table full time as a plumber on the side LOL

last year when they did there taxes he claimed head of house with 2 kids and she claimed head of house with 2 kids. none of the kids are his. but I was amazed to hear that they got back a total of $18k on there return's. now they are really struggling no unemployment and no work.I feel sorry for the kids but i laughed at them and said thats what you get.
