Mechman Alt Help

How the hell do u install a mechman alt with there ext volt reg together to work. any pics. im having problems. the volt reg wont change the volts and i had the alt over heat so its siting untill i can call mat.

what am i doing wrong? Its going into my 08 jeep GC

I would think if your getting the alt hot then a wire must be in reversed polarity for something on the ext regulator causing the alt to freak out, maybe??

I couldn't tell ya much though with out physicaly seeing what it does.
