Hey guys,
So basically no company makes a H/O alt with more than around 250A for my 1998 Toyota T100.
I'm thinking about running dual Mechman 370s along with my ohio gen 200A I already have installed. I've seen these alternators used in cars that are not listed on the compatable vehicle chart on mechmans site, but how does this exactly work?
My Ohio gen 200A plugs directly into my stock Toyota electrical plug. So would I just somehow piggy back off those wires to my Mechmans alts to tell them to turn on?
Im going to let my Ohio gen alt power the engine battery which will stay isolated from the audio system, and then I'll run 1/0 wire from my mechman alts straight to the back battery bank.
I'm still trying to read and learn more about large electrical systems in car audio but I'm having a hard time finding exact answers I'm looking for.
Any knowledge shared or helpful links would be greatly appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Thanks for the help!
