this is determined by your fusing and your cone area? I am trying to be in amatuer 0-550 class. I have 40a of fusing and running a 12. I know the 40a puts me at 400, will the 12 bump me over the 550? If so, by how much and can I run 2 12s and stay under class 3 (1000+)

Im gonna try and burp my Treo at some low ohm load. i have been playing with it and it will easily burp at 1ohm...I have 2 Treo TSX 12s now, so Id like to possibly be in class 1 or 2

thats good. Im gonna build a new box for the Treo 12, and I think I can get a decent number dropping a low ohm load on my amp. I think I can squeeze 500rms out of that amp which is pretty good for as1

Some guys get some pretty serious shit and put up huge numbers cause they run their amp at 4 ohms with 150a fusing so they can run low classes. A 135 would be great for AS1, there were guys here in AS3 not breaking 135. I'm the loudest person that runs amateur in this circuit.

Well, thats the difference between people that like to bump their music and people that compete. There were AS3 scores in the 40s today, but those were people who were serious about their equipment. The guy that did a 33 was running a Type R 10 in what looked to be a pretty standard ported box

yes, i wasnt competing tho because I just got a new vehicle on Wednesday, and my Treo 15 wouldnt fit in my car, it was too tall. Thats why I am talking about running in as1 with just a single treo 12 and treo amp...I was wearing a scottie pippen jersey and a black hat...your truck was great

You can run very low amp fusing just for burps, if you find good fuses ( knu, kicker, some stinger) you will get a fine burp b4 the fuse goes...
thats what Im trying to do. Im thinking I can squeeze 500rms out of my 40a fusing, which should put me in great position in as1

AS runs music so it's not really a burp
yes, they require normal music. No sweeps, bass tracks etc.
