MDF Splits!! Pics*

I just took apart my built box and I have a bunch of MDF splits. I predrilled the holes, but the drill bit i used was too small for the drywall screws. Also i have a bunch of unwanted holes in the box. What do i do? Is there a fix, or should i buy new MDF? What screws/drill bit combination should i use? This sucks, I dont care about the extra 20+ dollars of MDF, just the work! Here are some pics.

It would have been fine, but since you decided to rip it apart I wouldnt put it back together and use it.

Next time, use the correct bit size maybe.

That not a big deal, Just put a nice thick bead of gorilla glue and it will be good. For the holes, I use wood filler. Works very well.

i usually use a #6 countersink bit, and dry wall screws, with good luck.

I took it apart to put some glue, i had only screws. I think i will go to home depot tomorrow @ 6am to buy some MDF. This sucks! I bet this will be just fine, but i dont want to take any chances.

splittin on mdf usually happens if you dont predrill...in my expierience

gorilla glue expands, and knowing the people around here, would use a crap load of it,

so USE wood glue on wood.
