So after getting screwed by md i was stuck out 300 bucks and with 3 blown drivers, I've spent the last few months gathering parts to build a recone for these drivers, i think i finally how found a winning combination, video and testing results should be done early next week.

semi woven leads to prevent slapping

If you ask me, it almost looks like it's factory like that, other than the huge dustcap and woven tinsels. It looks like you did an excellent job. How long have you been reconing?

woven tinsels are a pretty cool feature, this is my first time using a spider with those, and i must say i like the concept

the huge dustcap makes reconeing much easier, i layed a bead of glue inside the surround on the cone and Pop'd the cap on.

Ive been reconing for about a month now, ive done like 2 by myself, 3 with nick from Fi and 3 with Loyd

hehe, i buy motors and recone em and sell em to make a few bucks, i just like doing it

I actually like the semi woven leads.. should have the advantages of woven with none of the downfalls..(the tendency to wear..) what kinda glue do you use?
