6 channel amp and double din head unit:

the amp,

McIntosh MC440M

"I purchased this used (was a display model at a shop) from the diyma forum. This thing is a classic with the sexy blue meters. Has TONS of power. 100x2 + 50x4. I lost one of the side rail threaded posts ($5 part just call up McIntosh and they will sell you one). One of the fans is old and rubs against the grill when you turn the car. I bought 2 new fans from McIntosh ($20 each) with the intention of replacing them both but never got around to it. The fans are included in this sale (but not pictured). I also have the original manual, warranty card, and box (which was stored in a basement that was flooded so it is not in good shape). There are a few cosmetic scratches here and there. Most noticeably on the bottom left (see picture). Priced to sell at 650 shipped."

i just got this amp but oppertunity is pounding on my door...

the head unit:

McINTOSH double din i obtained this rare item in trade from AZNGOTSKILLS and heres what he told me about it(used with permission):

"It was used for about two weeks, then sent it to Auto Car Audio, Stereo and Radio Repair Solutions from San Jose, CA | Short Circuit to get a complete clean-up. The CD-changer mechanism was replaced and everything else clean, checked up, and now perfect. Its works 100% guaranteed and just tested it yesterday, it does play burned CD-R fine without difficulty. Its a US-spec radio and will include the DIN to RCA connector and wire harness to plug-n-play. Model number is PF-25201-A but it may be really difficult to find info on this unit as it is rare and hard to find. "

also

"This McIntosh HU is a 6-disc in-dash CD changer with internals of the McIntosh MX-406 (I have no way to verify exactly, but what I have found through extensive research and calling). Whats makes this rare is that its a USDM market unit which will have US stations without a FM converter, volume on the left, 13-pin DIN to RCA females (Neutrik end), and wiring harnes for easy plug-n-play. You will probably be one of the few to have this RARE gem in your car or collection..."

"Yes it is actually OEM unit made for the Subaru Legacy IIRC. The vehicle specific EQ is done within the amp so this has a clean preout signal from the HU. I already made a 13-pin DIN to RCA so its ready to plug and play like any other after market HU. The wire harness is already included as well Supposed to be the same CD mechanism, laser, and DAC as the MX-406 but this one is in the rare 6cd indash changer form. "

bothe pieces are absolutely beautiful..

650$ for the amp and 400$ for the head unit,or best offer.

buy both and i will give outstanding deal..
