Well I didnt call I emailed them.
Maybe Ive missed it, but I know I asked a bit more info then youve provided. Like how do you know its a stacked 406? You say it, but I see no other explanation. Maybe it is, maybe it isnt. Maybe you know, maybe you dont.
Info, info, info.
You say the tech support wouldnt know, but some guy on a forum does? Being new here, makes me wonder. I dont know you, your qualifications, your knowledge level, etc, etc, etc.
Also most of your comments/remarks have been less than inviting, actually you have come off pretty snide.
At any rate, heres the reply I got, in its entirety:
They are based on the MX406 but are designed to hook to the dedicated amp/EQ module in the Subaru, that has fixed EQ set for the speakers and car acoustics of the particular Subaru model and does not have normal output and power connections.
Get a real MX406.

So my question hasnt really been answered and I fear it will probably never be. Its based on the 406, but where do the lines blur? Is it a stacked 406 and its as simple as that, is it less than, is it mroe than?
I see Chuck made his opnion quite obvious...
And about my bid/money. I did retract my bid, amount doesnt matter really. If the seller wont respond chances are it wouldnt be a good experience. As far as money, ya I put $120 on it I believe. If I really want it I can get it. Hell Im really eyeballing that Denon Z1 on E Bay also. Ya I got that much too...
So my money and small bid is very irrelevant...
