McIntosh any good?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just bought a used Corvette which

has a Macintosh amp and some Folcal speakers. I'm new to car audio so

is this stuff considered good? On the amp it says "MC4000M" or

something like that.

The folcals up front sound good but I really want a sub that hits

harder. Would some Kicker subs be a good choice?

Thanks

Nope that stuff sucks.

I'll take it off your hands though because I have a friend in need.

200 bucks for the amp and speakers.

j/k That's a nice set-up, especially since you just got lucky.

Mcintosh is too good for a z06, buy a ferrari //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Ouch, well maybe it would be better suited for my 911 Turbo. I’ve never heard of those other brands of subs. My cousin has Kicker and they are square instead of round. He says those and JL Audio are the best subs you can buy.

At this point, I have an Alpine Type R 10 in the Z
