I beg to differ, choad. It is not common sense because you would rip it out and keep it. This car has thousands of mods done to it including the audio system.
It would be a shame to rip this all out if you were not going to get another vette or similar car as most of the custom work was made for a Corvette ZO6.

Did you read the post? Hes the one flaming someone about asking if the system was taken out or not.
The point is most people will take their system out and keep it or sell it when selling a car, regardless if its a **** vette. He flamed someone for mentioning taking out a "custom" install because it would degrade the cars value somehow and you would be stupid to take out a system in a car like that.

i am an installer as well...was at the time. i sold them as a package with the car. it was time to move on. broke people tend to keep their stuff when they sell because they fear the time it would take to recuperate their loss. they think its an asset rather than the liability car audio really is.

If I owned a setup like that that was that integrated into the vehicle, and I figured I could snow the new owner into paying more for it as part of the cost of the car, why wouldn't I want to sell?
