So I rewired some things last month.

Had an MBQuart da2400.1

markings at the power terminal are funky--

Anyhoo-- wired the power and ground bass ackwards.

Smoked it. Thought it was dead.

Fuses did not blow. Wired correctly-- no green light-- only protect mode.

Opened it up-- could see or smell nothing wrong.

Bought a replacement amp.

Tonight I fooled with it on indoor 12v power supply and got it working perfect!

Strong amp board. She should be toast.

a good board would be that the fuses pop when you wire them backwards and will work fine after replacing. Or the amp just goes straight into protect until you wire it properly and it'll work like normal. My buddy did that to a kenwood 900 rms monoblock and all that happened was a popped fuse. Replaced it and it works fine anywhere.
