How come i dont see that many people here and other places running MB Quarts? A couple of the local shops around here speak of them like they are gold.. and that nothing else can come close to them.. I dont want to run them because im going with CDT's but just was curious..

my first monster set up i had was a 85 and a half escort with 27 speakers lol out of those 14 were mb quarts. they are very bright imho i fell in love with pro techs and oz before i was turned on to horns. i like soft domes alot better than titaniums UNLESS you have a real good 1/2 to 1/3 octive eq or a real solid parametric eq. horns can be bright too but they disperse alot better than a normal speaker. also let it be well known there is no very best in audio its subjective. key to doing this whole car audio mess is knowing what you like and that comes from you not reviews or sales people. reviews i use reviews to see tendancies of the way things work/sound but i also have enough know-how to correct most things i might not like in most products unless its REALLY noisey or blows up lol. best i can tell you is keep an open mind and play with alot of different things you will learn alot faster that way.

i have a friend with some they sound crisp and clean to me but it was all in the install.

But try to listen to as many as possible they may sound good to me but im not the one buying them what ever suits your taste
