I've heard good things and bad things about these subs. i want to get 2 of them in a 3cube ported box in the back of a grand cherokee. what do you think? i'm going more for sq over spl but still want it to be decently loud.

would it work in a prted box though. i already built the box and its tuned to 30hz. the low tuning should help keep the sq shouldnt it?

hell for the price they have'm here it wouldnt hurt to try'em

i have 2 rwe302's (i know theyre 12's not 15's) in a 1ft ea enclosure and the have excellent output and better sq running at only 275 rms from a Phoenix Gold OUTLAW

but as stated they do NOT like ported enclosures at all!

yeah, man - an echo is about all you'll get around here on the MB Quart subs. threads come and go with people asking about them, but no one really has much to say - but why? it's a decent brand (used to be tits, but that was when it was still bona fide european; some may say that Maxxsonics ate out the quality), it's cheap and it's a sexy design, so what's the deal?

how can the oddly-named Tang Band sold on Parts Express get more play and more discussion on this forum than MB Quart? not knocking TB cause I'm sure it's a great sub, but perhaps you can see what I'm saying.
