MB Quart RAA Series Amps

I am a big fan of this amps, and my whole setup is going to be run by them.

It has one option called FRONT END DEFEAT

Here is the explanation: Front End Defeat: The Front End Defeat is used to reroute the input signal around the signal processing circuitry within the amplifier. While in the On position, all gain and crossover functions are bypassed. This feature was designed for use with external processors to provide the purest possible signal path through the amplifier.

As u see there is a very good reason for me to want to use it BUT.. Gain knobs go from 8V to 0.15V. My HU has 3x5V pre outs.

The question is next:

How many Volts should my pre outs be for this option to work fine?

Has anybody tried it out?

If gain is bypassed where will be my volume limit on the HU?

Anybody who has some more info on this matter-i'd appriciate ur help

I think more than 5v, im sure your volume would be limited by the voltage but i think they did that if your using some kind of crossover to turn up the signal before it gets to the amp.
