I'm new to car audio so exercise a little patience with this newbe.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I read in one of the posts that going with active crossovers would allow me to have more control of my sound?

I have MB Quart QSD 216 front and rear; first can I go with an active crossover if so where do I start (as far as knowledge and equipment necessary) and how much money am I looking at.

Do a search for active and start reading. You need to learn alot before you attempt it yourself. You can gain more controll using your passive crossovers that came with your speakers by bi amping them. Basically that means you need a 4 ch amp or 2 2ch amps. You hook 2 channels to the mids and 2 channels to the tweets. This way you can adjust the output of either to gain more controll. However you cant adjust crossover points this way. Just something to get you started. Later, Chuck
