MB Quart OR Focals?

i narrowed it down to 2.

this will be going into a coupe. i have 2-12" infinitis in the trunk, and i am looking mainly for SQ and midbass. are mb quarts known for mids, or just for their highs and what not? im leaning toward the focals, but i keep hearing from people that mb's are one of the best comp sets. i would prob. get the PCE series.

i listen mainly to rap/hip hop...which would be best for my setup?

I'd go with Focal, MB never really impressed me. They are nicer than a lot of stuff, just not my taste.

I like my mb quarts alot. But then again I have never heard focal.

X2, I love my Quarts, even more so if I sealed them off. Thier midbass is above most others. The Focals are sweet as well. To me personally, it'd come down to $$.

Don't know if it matters to you or not but I am shopping for a set of Focal 165 KP3's and I can't find an authorized dealer in the U.S. anywhere. Also found out that Focal does not authorize online sales for any of their products. Most people could give a shitt less or not if the product is authorized or not though.

focal usually straight drop in type of installs will sound smoother but with me eventually the mb tweets start to annoy the shit out of me even if its off axis. almost as bad as the older polk sets
