G gimling Member 122 0 florida May 25, 2015 #2 even on sonic electronics it says maxis same as RMS, would probly say half it and your in the neighborhood, only other way to find out is if you can find someone that has benchtested it or if you get one and clamp it., and half might be undershooting it i bought http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76918_MB-Quart-OA1550.1D.html im running it at 800Watts what my subs are rated at and its not stressing or heating up at all, im so far impresseed with the amp.

Yup I got this opti amp. Beast of a amp. It's like over 2ft long so big footprint but it's a powerhouse and has 0gauge inputs.
